VIDEO: Fox NFL Mocks Jessica Simpson's Weight Cartoon

Jessica Simpson is having a tough autumn: first, her beloved dog Daisy was eaten by a coyote; then, on Sunday during Fox's football coverage, a mean-spirited cartoon (sponsored by Burger King) razzed Simpson for being overweight and her ex-boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, for dating an overweight woman.

The clip features animated versions of Romo, and Cowboys personnel such as coach Wade Phillips, running back Marion Barber, tight end Jason Witten and burly offensive lineman Flozell Adams.

"Man, I still can’t believe Tony Romo dated Jessica Simpson," the animated Barber said, "Even after she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!"

The cartoon Witten then chimes in, "Unlike Tony, at least Jessica comes up big when it counts!"

Even the coach gets in on the act, asking Romo: "Is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!"

One question the sophomoric skit left us with: Exactly how are fat jokes are gonna help Burger King sell more Whoppers?
