One place anyone can start making changes is at the dinner table. Big Love star Goodwin recently became the spokesperson for the Adopt-A-Turkey Project which is designed to rescue commercially-raised birds from ending up as food. "If we are to save turkeys, instead of eat them, we would not only be saving a lot of pain and suffering, but we would be using our natural resources for something more efficient like saving world hunger," she explained.

Some of the night's big winners were the movie Earth and the ABC hit Brothers and Sisters.
