There are plenty of ways to go green these days and celebrities are now often leading the charge on the best way to keep global warming at bay.  At the 2009 Environmental Media Awards, Jason Mraz, Ginnifer Goodwin, and other stars honored for their environmental efforts and living eco-friendly lifestyles gave RadarOnline.com their tips on how to keep the planet green.

One place anyone can start making changes is at the dinner table. Big Love star Goodwin recently became the spokesperson for the Adopt-A-Turkey Project which is designed to rescue commercially-raised birds from ending up as food. "If we are to save turkeys, instead of eat them, we would not only be saving a lot of pain and suffering, but we would be using our natural resources for something more efficient like saving world hunger," she explained.

Some of the night's big winners were the movie Earth and the ABC hit Brothers and Sisters. The event was also sponsored by some eco-friendly ventures including VeeV Acai Spirit, Earthbound Farm, Bonterra Vineyards, and Kellogg Garden Products.
