Following their no-show in a Santa Barbara Superior Court on Monday, Randy & Evi Quaid’s former private Investigator, Becky Altringer, told RadarOnline.com that she wasn’t surprised.

Randy And Evi Quaid Fail To Appear In Court

And although District Attorney Lee Carter told the judge that the Quaids intend to voluntarily appear in court on Thursday, Altringer says, don’t hold your breath.

“I don’t think they’re going to show,” Altringer told RadarOnline.com outside the courtroom. “I’ll tell you, what’s going through Evi’s mind right now is that this is all a setup, and that the mob is out to kill her and Randy. She’s thinking this is all a conspiracy and that I’m part of that conspiracy.”

Altringer added, “Anyone who Evi hires who doesn’t do what she tells them to do becomes part of this conspiracy.”

Following their failure to appear last week, the Quaids were being represented by San Francisco attorney Ken Johnson. Monday, D.A. Lee Carter said the eccentric couple now has new representation, but wouldn't disclose the name.
