EXCLUSIVE: Inside Ryan Gosling's Private Concert
Oct. 14 2009, Published 7:25 a.m. ET
Actor Ryan Gosling has been known for indulging his musical interests (he once had a DJ residency at LA club Bardot) and he recently threw a private concert for his band Dead Man's Bones for the upcoming release of their self-titled album. RadarOnline.com brings you inside the exclusive event.
"It was a small private event," a source tells RadarOnline.com. Held at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, the concert- which benefits the Silverlake Conservatory Children's Choir- drew a start-studded crowd including Amanda Seyfried and Emile Hirsch. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and was in full party mode! The crowd even went so wild for the KARMA California Brut champagne that "they ran out by midnight!"
The performance was completely sold out and the band consists not just of Gosling. His pal Zach Shields (who dated the sister of Gosling's ex Rahcel McAdams) has been at his side as the two performed a residency at the theater, complete with dancing neon skeletons and glowing ghosts included in their set.
According to Rolling Stone, the duo is planning a North American tour where they will perform with a different choir in each city and host a talent show for local entertainers rather than having opening bands.
