Talks are ongoing for the 1997 mega-hit Titanic to be converted to 3D and re-released, in the same vein of other films, such as the Toy Story franchise.
"We are certainly interested in exploring the opportunity to re-release some of Lightstorm's past films in 3D," Lightstorm partner Jon Landau told The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't think it's too far into the future. We're pretty far down the road."
Industry insiders have also tinkered with the prospect of putting out another James Cameron-directed megahit, Terminator 2, out in 3D, as well.
