Wanted: Beautiful-But-Brutal Babe For Bayonetta Video Game
Sept. 3 2009, Published 5:27 a.m. ET
You won't find any other job like this in today's want-ads: Sega, in conjunction with Maxim.com, is seeking a young lady to play the role of Bayonetta, the ancient huntress slated to dominate video game consoles next year.
The action heroine is a hybrid of sexiness, style, grace and aggression: Think a sexier Lady GaGa with moves like the Matrix, supernatural powers like Yoda and an arsenal to match the Terminator's. And that's putting it lightly.
"Bayonetta is lethal -- she’s beautiful but brutal. We’re convinced she will stir up the Maxim readers," Sega marketing VP Sean Ratcliffe said. "We can’t wait to see the Maxim.com audience rise to the challenge of trying to find us a real-life Bayonetta."
The winner of this contest will be featured on Maxim.com, and receive a Xbox 360 console, an entertainment system from Microsoft, a 50-inch Panasonic TC-P50X1 HDTV Plasma TV and a copy of the game for the Xbox 360. Entrants must be 18 years or older and a legal, female resident of the United States or Canada; all photo submissions must be received by Sept. 30, 2009.
