Proud Parents Joel Madden, Nicole Richie Twitter About Sparrow, Sushi

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie, who welcomed their second child (son Sparrow) into the world Wednesday, left messages on Twitter for friends, family and their adoring public.
"Babies are like the human version of puppies," Madden Tweeted Thursday.

He then wrote: "A song for the little songbird," linking to Simon & Garfunkel's song Sparrow as tribute to their 7-pound, 14-ounce bundle of love. He then invited actor pal Ryan Gosling over, saying: "Wanna come over and watch football with me on Sunday. We could drink a beer and yell at the tv." In his last Thursday post, aimed at a pair of friends, Madden wrote, "I love you guys. I think your the best friends anyone could have and that is priceless."
Nicole was a little less sentimental in her post, perhaps as a result of all that hospital food.
