Lady Gaga & Beyonce Tie With 3 VMA's Each

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards turned out to be quite the Ladies Night, with Beyonce and Lady Gaga going head to head in eight categories.
Both gals walked with three awards each, the coveted Video of The Year going to Beyonce for her phenomenon "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," as well as Best Choreography and Best Editing.
Gaga scored Best Art Direction and Best Special Effects for her "Paparazzi" clip, and won Best New Artist.

For the boys, T.I. scored Best Male Video for "Live Your Life" but was unable to accept it as he's incarcerated, and Eminem claimed Best Hip-Hop Video for "We Made You."
