Maksim Chmerkovskiy will get to see Karina Smirnoff naked one more time -- along with the rest of the world.

What really happened between the couple at the Emmys

In one of the sexiest things we've seen all year, the Dancing With The Stars beauty is featured naked in a new PETA ad with the classic tag-line, "I'd Rather Dance Naked Than Wear Fur."

The couple are trying to figure things out

The ad, snapped by celebrity photographer Robert Sebree, showcases the dancer's famously tan and toned physique.

Details about their breakup

Smirnoff said she did not always approach wearing furs with the same mentality.

"I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine," Smirnoff said. "But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel."

Other beauties who have lost their clothes for the PETA cause include Pamela Anderson, Khloe Kardashian, Eva Mendes, and Charlize Theron.

Smirnoff is currently paired up on DWTS with handsome Aaron Carter; this week's DWTS results show airs Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC.
