"The last 24 hours have been incredibly scary and we are no where near being out of the woods. We have been informed that the containment dates for this fire, at this time, are going past Labor Day. This means we’ve got a ways to go before we aren’t on edge any more," Blair wrote on World Heart's website.

The city of Acton- where the sanctuary is located- has been on of the hardest hit areas. Blair is requesting for any donations, crates, and willing volunteers who can help evacuate the animals if need be.
"In terms of the evacuation itself - we are on pins and needles waiting for the word. Our biggest fear is getting the orders in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep. If you are willing to help load dogs in crates and transport to our evacuation spot and don’t mind getting called in the middle of the night please let us know. You can email worldheartvolunteers@gmail.com for more information."
