A hotel staffer told Radaronline.com exclusively, "She said the grounds were so beautiful and tranquil, she just wanted to walk around and see everything. She was in a good mood, happy and talkative."

Susan managed to get a little sightseeing in also though, as she was driven to Michael Jackson's home in the morning for a quick drive by peek.

Around noon, the Scottish sensation hopped into a black SUV and made her way to Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, via Rodeo Drive, to partake in a little retail therapy.

Then it was back to the hotel, where perhaps the nerves of tonight's guest appearance may have finally taken their toll. As her car pulled into the valet at the hotel, Susan remained holed up inside the car with her bodyguard and handler.

When asked if Susan was nervous about her upcoming performance, a source close to her tells RadarOnline.com," Yeah she is. But she's ready for tonight."
