EXCLUSIVE: Santa Barbara Tells Quaids "Surrender!"

The Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office is working with Randy and Evi Quaid's high-powered Texas lawyer, Dick DeGuerin to have the couple return to California and surrender voluntarily to three felony charges they are facing stemming from unpaid hotel bills, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

"We are seeking their voluntary return to California. We are hopeful that a date will be set for the Quaids in the very near future.", Santa Barbara D.A, Lee Carter tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Carter adds that if the Quaids fail to come back to Santa Barbara on their own, he could send law enforcement from California to Texas and get them.  But, Carter is hopeful it won't come to that.

The Quaids were arrested last week on warrants stemming from unpaid hotel bills at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch.

RadarOnline.com was first to report that Randy and Evi also owe $17,000 in unpaid bills to the Hotel Bel-Air in LA and that Evi often used a bad credit card under the name 'Janet Cross' to rack up charges at other hotels-including the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills.
