EXCLUSIVE: Redmond O’Neal’s Attorney Trying For Release

Redmond O'Neal's attorney, Richard Pintal, is trying to get his client released from jail and into a residential treatment facility, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Sources close to Redmond tell RadarOnline.com, "The goal is to permit transition to a non-custody regiment of recovery."
Redmond has been in custody since the spring when he was arrested for possession of heroin. O'Neal is currently at Pitchess Detention Center where he is enrolled in a stringent inmate recovery program. The insider goes on to say, "Redmond is doing very well, but there is only so much that can be done in the treatment program behind bars."

Redmond's next court appearance, for his heroin possession case, is on September 18th.
Meanwhile, Richard Pintal, O'Neal's attorney tells RadarOnline.com, "The rumors about Redmond doing a reality show are 100% false."
