While the battle over Michael Jackson’s estate, death, and memory continue, at least his living legacy seems to be moving on with their lives as best they can. His sister La Toya Jackson opened up to RadarOnline.com recently to reveal how Michael’s kids have been coping following his unexpected death in June.
What their godfather has to say
“The children are doing well,” La Toya Jackson told RadarOnline.com during the Macys and American Express Passport AIDS fundraiser in Los Angeles on Thursday. “They are with their cousins and they’re playing and just having a wonderful time.”
Prince Michael, Paris Katherine and Prince Michael II or Blanket as he is called, have been living in Encino with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, since she was granted temporary guardianship in June.
“My mother’s doing a fabulous job with them,” she added.
Earlier this month, court documents revealed Katherine Jackson and the three children are paid more than $86,000 per month for living expenses from Jackson’s estate, which is estimated to be worth more than $500 million. They will continue to receive the payments until the estate is probated, which could take anywhere between 1 to 2 years.
