Dave Matthews Cancels Concert Due To Illness

The show cannot go on for Dave Matthews. RadarOnline.com has learned that the singer has canceled his Tuesday concert in Utah on advice from his doctors.
"Regretfully, the September 1st performance at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City, UT has been postponed due to doctor-diagnosed strain on Dave Matthews' vocal chords," said a United Concerts press release obtained by RadarOnline.com. "We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. At this time all other performances will continue as scheduled. Ticket holders should stand by for further information which will be posted as soon as it becomes available."

The concert would have been the first of an 18-show tour around the west and mid-west. The tour has been suspended until further notice.
"I'm afraid my voice is f---ed," Matthews wrote on his Twitter. "Doctors. Give that horse a shot so he can finish the race."
