Police were called to Shanna Moakler's family home in Rhode Island yesterday 8/24/09 following an incident involving Travis Barker.

Travis and Shannon recently hashed out an agreement allowing them to share custody of their two children, Landon, 5, and Alabama, 3, but when the time came for Travis to return the kids, after his stint at daddy duty, a fight broke out between Shanna and Travis resulting in Travis' refusal to leave the property.

"Travis had a total meltdown," a source tells radaronline. "He refused to leave the kids with Shanna unless his nanny stayed too.

"He was accusing her of being an unfit parent and all kinds of things, he was out of control.

"Shanna was terrified and called the police, she didn't think she had any other option, he just wouldn't go and was getting angrier by the minute.

"They fight all the time, over everything, it's a constant battleground for those two. But, deep down they do really love each other, and they both do love the children.

"It's really a case of can't live with, can't live without."
