Jenny Sanford, the wife of South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford -- whose lurid love affair with Argentine divorcee Maria Belen Chapur became public in June -- has struck back in a new interview, in which she candidly told Vogue magazine: “I have learned that these affairs are almost like an addiction to alcohol or pornography. The embarrassed wife and mother to the politician’s four sons moved out of the governor's mansion after the news broke. She said that philandering politicians, such as her husband, “become disconnected from the way everyone else lives in the world.”
