"Millionaire" Celebrates Decade On The Air With Regis, A-List Lineup

Can you believe its been a decade since the iconic game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” has hit the air? And is that your final answer?

To celebrate the diamond anniversary of the pop culture institution, Regis Philbin returns to to ABC for a two-week prime-time event, hosting a special celebrity charity competition on the show, which will roll out the red carpet for a conga line of celebrities playing for their cause of choice.

In a scintillating new twist, each night, a different celebrity will answer a single question to win $50,000 for their charity of choice — talk about pressure.

Guest contestants slated to appear include I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry; The Hills hottie Lauren Conrad; ubiquitous rapper Snoop Dogg; The Middle's Patricia Heaton; Olympic Gold medalist/DWTS champ Shawn Johnson and perennial All-Star NBA point guard Steve Nash, among others.

The Millionaire special debuts August 9 on ABC, and will air for 11 nights from Sunday thru Thursdays; check local listings for times.
