Michael Jackson will have to wait a little bit longer to rest in peace.
The Thriller singer's burial has been postponed for five days to September 3 for unknown reasons, according to a statement from family spokesman Ken Sunshine issued Friday. The original plan had him being buried on August 29, his 51st birthday.
The new plan calls for the King of Pop remains to be buried in a nighttime ceremony at Forest Lawn-Glendale, which is about 8 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
