Kevin Bacon Talks Fame, Footloose and Staying Scandal-Free

Ask Kevin Bacon about whether he'd like to have a cameo in the upcoming Footloose remake and the actor gives a surprising answer.
"You know, no one's ever spoken to me about it. Never say never, but... who knows."
In a new interview with PopEater.com, Bacon talks candidly about revisiting that career changing film, and his latest, My One and Only, co-starring Renee Zellweger. It's a period piece set in the 1950s and Bacon plays a philandering husband. Aside from Footloose, which he made when he was just 26, Bacon's resume has included a bevy of hardened bad boy roles (think A Few Good Men, Wild Things, Mystic River).
But in real life, the actor has led a remarkably scandal-free life with his wife of 21 years, actress Kyra Sedgwick.
"I come from a very, very strong family," Bacon told Popeater. "And I think that I just somehow instinctively knew that I had to find something that was more important than the movies. We make each other and our children a priority. That's the beginning and end of it."
So what does Bacon think of Chace Crawford starring in the Footloose remake?
