Talk about a rude awakening! Jessica Simpson got the jolt of her life early Tuesday morning when a 6.6 earthquake hit Japan.
The quake struck Tsuruga Bay, just southwest of Tokyo at 5:07 a.m. local time, according to the National Weather Agency.
Simpson, who is in Japan to begin production on her new reality show, The Price of Beauty, talked about it on her Twitter page.
"Thought I was hallucinating," she tweeted. "I have never felt anything like this in my life. Laying in bed watching CNN."
Simpson's show will follow her as she tours seven countries to document what lengths women go to achieve beauty.
