Several stars in Los Angeles were talking about Michael Vick Thursday night as he made his debut with the Philadelphia Eagles against the Jags.

The event was an animal rescue charity fundraiser in Hollywood where Paul McCartney's ex and animal lover Heather Mills was the honoree.

While several stars slammed Vick, Mills was more introspective, exclusively telling RadarOnline.com "What can I say, everybody deserves a second chance. In a way, it's the most horrific thing, but if it hadn't have happened there wouldn't be the awareness there is."

And, while R&B star Mya said "shame on you," to  Vick, she also implied that his punishment was too severe: "People have done cruel things to other people and have not gotten as much punishment," she said in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com.

Other stars were more blunt in their disgust for Vick. Girl Next Door star Bridget Marquardt said she wouldn't even give him the time of day.

Stephanie Pratt didn't hold back in her comments, saying:  "I hate him. I think he's vile and disgusting."

But perhaps Shannon Elizabeth summed it up best: "I would say, you got a free pass, you got really really lucky you better make the most of it. And If I were you and you want anyone to forgive you, you better start becoming an animal advocate."

The event was the Celebrity Catwalk benefiting National Animal Rescue.
