While only two episodes of the sixth season of Project Runway have aired, one of the early contenders in the new season is certainly celebrating his achievements in the design competition.

Nicolas Putvinski, a free-spiritied Russian chap with a fondness for libations, was caught hitting it hard at a recent Bachelorette party in New York City.

A RadarOnline.com source spotted Putvinski toasting the upcoming nuptials of a childhood gal pal in SoHo, at bar Karaoke One7.

And what was the happy designer sipping on?

"Tequila, Long Island ices tea's, shots and champagne," the spy said.

And it turns out a little liquid courage goes a long way--not only was he boasting about his staying power in the show, but he even called Heidi Klum in front of his group to prove he knew the model!

After all the partying was said and done, Putvinski packed it in...and then went to another watering whole!

"They partied until 3 a.m. and then went to another bar next door."

Hopefully Michael Kors or Tim Gunn didn't get any drunk dials like their beautiful blonde host.

Putvinski was best known prior to Project Runway for his heavenly work on the Victoria's Secret fashion show--where he designed several pairs of sexy wings.
