EXCLUSIVE: DJ AM's Friend Reacts To Death

DJ Scotty Boy, a friend, arrived at Adam’s apartment at 8:45 p.m. tonight, telling RadarOnline.com: “I can’t believe this has happened. I saw him just last Friday when we we performed at the Palms in Las Vegas.

“I’ve known him for ten years and I thought the worst when I heard about his plane accident – and thank God he survived that. Having this happen so soon afterwards is devastating. After the plane accident he really changed and made the most of his life and seemed to appreciate his life and his friends much more. He was happily in a relationship. He was at the peak of his career. It it so terrible that this has happened. He was a down to earth, humble guy who had everything to live for.”
Meanwhile, an NYPD source said a coroner’s van is en route to the scene to remove the corpse.
