Ellen Pompeo Baby Shower Brings The Ladies Of Grey's Anatomy Together

Katherine Heigl may be the most disliked major star on TV but when she hosted a baby shower for her Grey's Anatomy costar Ellen Pompeo on Saturday, all animosity was put aside. Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery are expecting their first child next month - and it's a girl, based on the many presents wrapped in pink.

The backyard gathering at Heigl's Hollywood Hills home brought out Grey's ladies Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh as well as Rebecca Gayheart, wife of the show's Eric Dane.
Heigl has frequently and very publicly complained about the show, harping about everything from the writing to the hours, much to the dismay of her producers and others in the cast. But it was all fun and laughter for Ellen's big day and trying to stay cool under umbrellas in 104 degree heat.
Curiously though, while all the ladies, including guest-of-honor Pompeo wore white, Heigl was all in black.
