Chris Brown will appear on Larry King Live next week in his first interview since his arrest Last February for the brutal beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
RadarOnline.com first reported on August 1st that Brown would sit down with Larry King.
The interview has already been taped and will air Wednesday, September 2nd on CNN, according to ET.
The Forever singer reportedly spoke to King at CNN's studios in Los Angeles. Brown's mother Joyce Hawkins was also there, as well as his attorney Mark Geragos.
A source tells ET that Brown's mother got very emotional and started to cry while talking to King.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, King was the first choice of Brown's handlers because his team believed the singer will be able to get his apology across without facing brutal questioning.
On Tuesday, a judge sentenced Brown to five years probation and 180 days of community labor service. He was also ordered to undergo weekly counseling for one year. In addition, he must abide by a protective order that restricts his contact with Rihanna until August 2014.
