Attack ‘Em : The Ole Way!

Most of us have our “bad” skin days; you know what I mean, blackheads, whiteheads or blemishes.
These facial “pests” are often a result of waxy oil that accumulates on the skin, says Ole Henriksen, whose skin care line is popular with celebs and regular folk. (Like us.)
So we were excited when he launched a new acne treatment called “Blemish Attack Kit” to target imperfections. Powerful botanicals are “infused” into a Blemish Attack Gel, Roll On Formula and Facial Mask to calm and soothe while aiding in textural improvement of the skin.
If you are plagued with daily acne, the skin guru has some natural remedies as well.
First, try baking soda as a natural exfoliator. “The texture of moistened baking soda is slightly abrasive and hence is good for exfoliation. With about ¼ teaspoon of the soda, add some water and then gently massage over problematic spots. Use once a week to combat acne prone skin,” says Ole.
And then rub a tomato over your face. Seriously.
“A tomatoes’ Vitamin C plus the acid infused into this fruit helps to clean whiteheads and prevents blackheads from turning into pimples. Simply slice a tomato and run it over acne prone area. Don’t expect these remedies to keep you acne free, targeted acne products must be used in conjunction with them,” says Ole.
