In fact, he confirmed it himself at a news conference at the Orange County Sheriff's Department Tuesday afternoon.
"It was good to see me today, too," Leopoldo, 41, told well-wishing reporters. "I had to look in the mirror a little bit. I almost believed it -- and it was me that was accused of being dead."
Some 14,000 news stories and blogs reported his “death,” and the brawny brawler took a shot at the outlets who were quick to take the bait
"It's amazing to see the media jump all over each other trying to be the first one to the punch with the story without any proof," Leopoldo said.
