The 7-year-old Utah boy who became an Internet celebrity -- after dashboard video of him leading police on a chase in his dad's stolen car Sunday morning -- appeared on The Today Show Friday.

Preston Scarbrough, 7, said he learned how to drive, as he “watched my mom" and "watched my sister” behind the wheel. He said he told police he boosted the car because didn’t want to go to church, though his mother Melanie said he later told them he wanted to know what it felt like to drive a car.
