TV: MONDAY HOT LIST
July 16 2009, Published 8:45 a.m. ET
We won’t deny that we were wary of a One Tree Hill without Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Burton. History has confirmed that shows are never as good when their shining stars leave (lessons learned from the original Beverly Hills 90210 and The OC). But, dare we say it—the show is just fine without them! In fact, we could go as far to say that it’s possibly the best season yet! Tonight, Nathan’s scandal (did he or didn’t he knock that girl up?) gets heated now that Haley knows. She’s not standing by her man so fast as she’s just not sure that she believes Nathan is innocent. Honestly, it’s about time that something rocked their happy little world!
NBC premieres Trauma, yet another new medical drama on their schedule this fall (they rolled out Mercy last week) about a team of first-responding paramedics at a San Francisco hospital.
And, tonight is the dramatic conclusion of last week’s Rachel Zoe Project. We hate to spoil it for you—but Rachel’s illness doesn’t kill her. However, the doctors advise her to rest but that’s just impossible in Rachel’s world. She also has to make Sophie’s Choice and decide whether Taylor or Brad will accompany her to Paris for its Fashion Week.
