TV: Friday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 8:40 a.m. ET
Season premieres tonight include Ghost Whisperer, Smallville, Medium (now airing on its new home of CBS), Dollhouse and NUMB3RS.
If you’re into the paranormal, you’re going to love the new Friday night pairing of Ghost Whisperer followed by Medium on CBS. Tonight on Ghost Whisperer, Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) gives birth to a baby boy who shares her gift of seeing the dead. And on Medium, Allison deals with the aftermath of her brain surgery.
Smallville kicks off its ninth season and adds Brian Austin Greene to the cast. Tonight, Clark begins his training with Jor-El—and lesson number one is to end things with Lois.
And Dollhouse—a show that was iffy on whether or not it would return—opens the second season with Echo (Eliza Dushku) dealing with the unique circumstances of her origin by aiming her wrath at Topher.
