It didn't have the star power of the Michael Jackson memorial service at L.A.'s Staples Center but the King of Pop's hometown of Gary, Indiana did host a moving and emotional tribute to its favorite son Friday night.
Michael's father Joe Jackson was there representing the family. Joe was a steelworker in Gary before his kids hit it big as the Jackson 5. "This is where it all began," he told the crowd of 7500.
