Matt Damon Is On Mission To Supply The World’s Poorest With Clean Water

Matt Damon – actor and cofounder of H20Africa announced on Tuesday that he has joined forces with Gary White of WaterPartners to create a new organization, Water.org with the goal of bringing clean, safe drinking water to some of the poorest communities on earth.

Damon has traveled to Ethiopia and India in recent months to view first-hand the impact that clean water has on villages. "Every 15 seconds, a child in the developing world dies from water-related disease. After visiting project sites in Africa and Asia with Gary, I’ve seen the problem and the impact of safe water." Damon said in a statement to RadarOnline.com.
