Ever dreamed of starring in a film alongside Clint Eastwood?
Now, you can go ahead (and make your day), right from the comfort of your seat.
In observance of Mandela Day, The Nelson Mandela Foundation and 46664 Organization has devised an ingenious promotion to get people "to honor the leader's inspiration and values." Via their Web site, you can upload video of yourself to stand alongside the Eastwood and many others in a video tribute to the leader set to Ben Harper's "With My Own Two Hands."
Other celebrities involved with the project, according to the foundation, include: Robert DeNiro, Quincy Jones, Forest & Keisha Whitaker, Christy Turlington, Billy Jean King, Noah Wyle and Sharon Stone.
You can access the video at http://www.mandeladay.com/participate/inyourhands; also available via the Web site are tickets for a July 18 Radio City Music Hall concert celebrating Mandela's 91st birthday, featuring performances from Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Will.i.am, T-Pain, Wyclef Jean, Aretha Franklin and Josh Groban.
