LiLo Accused Of Hijacking Fake Bake Formula
July 8 2009, Published 11:05 a.m. ET
Lindsay Lohan and business partner Lorit Simon stole the formula to compose their Sevin Nyne tanning spray product, a Florida chemist said in court papers Tuesday.
Jennifer Sunday is suing the Mean Girls star and her business partner for breach alleged of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.
"We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product," the chemist's lawyer, Marcia Cohen, told the St. Petersburg Times. "If Ms. Lohan and Ms. Simon and their companies and their shareholders are profiting from the theft of my client's formula and are profiting from that product, my client is entitled to those proceeds."
