The red carpet at the ESPY Awards at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles Wednesday night was sizzling, and the hottest topic was the superstar breakup of the Ken & Barbies of the NFL, Dallas Quarterback Tony Romo and sexy siren Jessica Simpson.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com’s special correspondent, former Miss USA Rachel Smith, ex-Minnesota Viking Robert Griffith asks: “Did you think it was going to last?” He adds: “It was too much in the spotlight.” Griffith says the breakup was inevitable. “There are too many problems with that. It looks like it has taken away from his game at times. That’s just a recipe for disaster.”
RadarOnline.com broke the news to Atlanta Falcons Tight End Tony Gonzalez who said, “I don’t care. I didn’t even know. Thanks for telling me.”
But now that Jessica is a single woman, Jared “The Subway Guy” Fogel says she’s too late. “I’m involved now,” he says proudly. “So she’s going to have to look elsewhere besides for me. I’m just sorry, that’s the way it is.”
