Everyone is trying to "Keep Up" with the Kardashians, and Kris Jenner gave RadarOnline.com exclusive insight on how she gave her daughters their star style.
"Dress appropriately for the place you are going and embrace it," the Kardashian matriarch taught her girls, "don't get lazy with fashion. If you do you are missing out on a really amazing adventure."
Having developed her style inspiration from her own mother, a "fifties icon dressed to perfection," it's only natural that Kris Jenner had an impact on her spawn's fashion sense--molding them into young Hollywood trendsetters.
"I think they inherited my passion for shoes and bags, poor things," she says.
"From a young age I made fashion very important and at the same time lots of fun. I feel life is fabulous and live it out loud. Fashion is an extension of who we are, whether shopping at Chanel or Target!"
Although we've never seen any of the Kardashians moseying the aisles of the West Hollywood Target, they definitely play with their style!
Kris encourages her daughters to "dress for their body types," not just aspire to that perfect size 2.
"They are all so different! It makes it much more interesting and fun to watch them evolve."
When it comes to getting the Kardashian clan ready for events Kris explains, "we all call each other and usually dress and do hair and make up together."
"You must start with great hair and make up whether you do it yourself or not and everything else will fall into place. I think keeping it simple these days, and most of all comfortable, you will have a really great time!"
And on the newest addition to the Kardashian entourage, Jenner gives Kim's man Reggie Bush a football pat on the backside for his style.
"He has impeccable style and also looks like he stepped out of a Bonnie and Clyde movie. I think Kim and Reggie enjoy getting dressed up for each other."
