The Los Angeles District Attorney will get first shot at bringing criminal charges against Dr. Conrad Murray, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Even though Dr. Murray is being investigated by multiple agencies – and could face charges from all of them – the DA will go first in any prosecution, a source extremely close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
The Drug Enforcement Agency and California Attorney General are also investigating Dr. Murray and all agencies are cooperating with each other.
A search warrant was executed Wednesday on Dr. Murray’s Houston, Texas office. The LAPD, DEA and Houston police were involved in the search. “The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter," said Ed Chernoff, a lawyer representing Dr. Murray.
RadarOnline.com previously reported that a source close to the case said Dr. Murray “is going down” in the investigation.

Investigators believe that Dr. Murray administer propofol to Jackson. Propofol is a powerful anesthetic that should not be administered at home. It is always administered with oxygen and Jackson’s chef told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that he saw Dr. Murray lugging large oxygen tanks at the house.
Dr. Murray denies doing anything to directly or indirectly have caused the death of Jackson.
