She made it through the wilderness, alright: 12 No. 1 singles, a record-37 top-ten hits, feature roles in Hollywood blockbusters, iconic status on MTV -- even an X-rated coffee table book -- have long defined the Material Girl's aura.
Now, it can be had in an upcoming release that truly represents the cream of the Material Girl's crop: Celebration, the ultimate anthology of Madonna music.
The nascent album will feature remastered and hand-picked tracks from the pop superstar, who has dominated the Billboard charts for much of the past quarter-century, as well as two new tracks, including that of the album's title, which was co-produced by house music legend Paul Oakenfold. An adjacent DVD featuring the videos of the songs will be released concurrently. Other household hits featured on the work include Everybody, Express Yourself, Vogue and 4 Minutes.
