As TLC announced Tuesday that it is tentatively ceasing production of its top-rated reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin's brother Kevin Kreider and his wife Jodi, discussed what life will be like for the family post-separation in an exclusive interview on RadarOnline.com.

Kevin, who said he watched TLC as kid, told RadarOnline.com that the cable network should be ashamed of themselves for profiting from the destruction of the family. He said that the ratings and profit do not compare to the cumulative damage done on the children, who won't have their father around to kiss them goodnight.

When asked what lessons were to be learned from the show -- which airs on The Learning Channel, Jodi said that American is witnessing what "the destruction of a family and a marriage" is like.

"It's horrible that this is what people are thinking is entertainment," she said.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 airs Monday on TLC at 9/8c.
