Expect some crazy jungle drama when the entire cast reunites for the crowning moment on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Yes, the whining Pratts, the hideous Janice and the button pushing Baldwins, they’ll all be back! And if there is a TV god out there, they will make the whole cast watch the best lying, cheating, pee-ing, meltdown moments of the season together! Busted Janice!
Later in the night, NBC redeems itself (after our jungle-star guilty pleasure), with its new series, The Philanthropist. A solid, action packed drama about Teddy Rist(James Purefoy), a (sexy!) billionaire who drowns his sorrows after losing his child with woman, drugs and drinking. After he has Good Samaritan, life-changing moment, he decides to use his money and power for good… even if that means recklessly breaking the rules and taking crazy risks! Expect to see some familiar faces in the cast with Law & Order's, Jesse L. Martin playing his best friend/business partner, who is married to Teddy’s former girlfriend – the one who got away - Neve Campbell, and George Clooney’s real life ex, Krista Allen as Teddy’s ex-wife. Think a sexy, filthy rich, James Bond-like, Mother Theresa! Yeah baby!
HBO premieres a fascinating and timely documentary tonight with Be Like Others: Transsexuals In Iran. The film profiles the lives of transsexuals in the brutally conflicted country, where sex-change operations are legal, but homosexuality is punishable by death!
And OMG, I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that tonight begins the 22nd season of the Real World! Eight strangers move into hot digs in Cancun, Mexico where they will proceed to drink, fight and have sex for our voyeuristic pleasure! Happy viewing!
