Its not quite Biggie Smalls vs. Tupac Shakur, but the Mariah Carey/Nick Cannon-Eminem rivalry continued Tuesday with the release of Carey's new single, Obsessed, in which the 39-year-old beauty returns the rapper's lyrical fire.

After the rapper intimated that he had a previous relationship with the 'Vision Of Love' singer, Carey's hubby Nick Cannon wrote in a blog aimed at the 'We Made You' singer: "I'm going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife."

Then Mariah shot back, through the medium of song.

The track, which never mentions the Detroit-based rapper by name, starts off with Carey asking, "Why are you so obsessed with me?", followed by lyrics ripping the rappers' well-documented battles with drug addiction ("It must be the weed, it must be the E, cause you be poppin', you get it poppin'").

More dripping-with-venom excerpts from the tune include: "Why are you so obsessed with me, boy I wanna know, lying that you're sexing me, when everybody knows, it's clear that you're upset with me."
