Wembley Stadium has hosted musical icons such as George Michael and Madonna, but never a performer with more than 150 million You Tube hits to their resume -- until Sunday.
Susan Boyle, the unofficial headliner of the Britain's Got Talent tour, sang her trademark tune, I Dreamed A Dream, to a packed house who gave the Scottish spinster an ovation that rivaled what the ex-Wham! singer or Material Girl heard in the same venue.
The singer was briefly placed in a mental health facility after about with exhaustion as the show wound down; she has been reportedly missing rehearsals and some dates on the tour, but her performance looked anything but rusty Sunday, as she sounded angelic, glimmered and connected with fans throughout the performance.
