Celebrities stepped out for the CMT Awards in Nashville Tuesday night and styles ran the gamut: leather pants and chains, designer full-length gowns, short-sassy minis -- even a failed attempt at girl-man-chic in a tux dress! While the CMT Awards are not known for their super-duper fashions, there were certainly some interesting looks.

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles went upscale chic in a champagne Rachel Roy strapless bustier mini-dress, whereas CMT veteran Sheryl Crow opted for rocker-hot in an all-black ensemble of leather pants, cropped jacket, and a multi-strand skull necklace!

Taylor Swift turned out looking fab, albeit a little predictable in a shimmer-sparkley Collette Dinnigan tiered mini, while DWTS hottie Julianne Hough also went tiered and mini in a coral Jenny Packham oh-so-young Hollywood number.

Kellie Pickler showed up in Nashville dressed for the Oscars in a Badgley Mischka gold-toned gown, while DWTS winner/ Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson looked ready for a casual stroll.

Supermodel Karolina Kurkova was decidedly not dressed like a country girl, attempting an Azzaro Tux dress and ankle boots.
