Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, a cardiologist, was the “personal physician” with Michael Jackson at the time of his death, and the LAPD is now are actively seeking his whereabouts for an interview.
Licensed to practice in both Texas, where he was affiliated with Acres Home Heart and Vascular Institute, and in California, where RadarOnline.com has confirmed his credentials were valid until February, 2011.
A spokeswoman at the Institute told RadarOnline.com, “we have not heard from the doctor and do not know when he will return.”
Dr. Murray accompanied Michael and his manager Frank DiLeo to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday and continued to administer CPR well after they arrived.
The physician was said to be staying in Jackson’s Los Angeles mansion with him, and using his sister Susan Rush’s car. That BMW was towed away by the LAPD as part of their investigation into Jackson’s death. “His car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death,” LAPD spokeswoman Karen Rayner said.
Jackson’s autopsy began Friday morning.
