With an opening line of "hello losers!' Hugh Grant proved there's no love lost between him and the paparazzi Tuesday night in New York City and to illustrate his point, he shocked one snapper with a swift kick!

Watch Hugh in this video catch the snapper offguard with a quick right shoe to the shin.

The Notting Hill star and his buddy had left the trendy celeb hotel Waverly Inn and when he saw the photogs he greeted them with "hello losers!" It went downhill from there with camera herd taunting the 48-year-old  about prostitutes to which he responded "Look at you, not even a man, not even a man."

Then came the sneak shoe attack! "Owww Jesus! That wasn't cool! What's your problem, what the hell?! I was trying to help you find a cab and you go and kick someone in the groin."

Radaronline.com spoke to the cops in New York and so far no police report has been filed, but they say if the photog wants to press charges it would be for harassment, not assault.

Grant was accused of attacking a photog in 2007 in London, but those charges were dropped.

No comment from Hugh Grant's rep.
