Two weeks after the tragic death of his daughter Exodus, Mike Tyson wed Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas on June 6 according to the marriage license they filed 30 minutes before the ceremony. But out of respect to the overall solemn time and his family’s continued grieving, Tyson specifically requested to keep the event low-key.
Shawn Absher, the owner of the wedding chapel, said the champ asked for a simple ceremony with “nothing special.”
"They just wanted to say the vows and be married," he said. "It was very sincere."
Tyson was previously married to actress Robin Givens in 1988, and Monica Turner in 1997.
