HOT PICS: New Moon's Dakota At Work on Runaways

Actress Dakota Fanning presses on with her big screen evolution, distancing herself from lighter fare with prep for the new rock n' roll flick The Runaways.

Fanning, rocking a decidedly more adult ensemble in ripped acid-washed and dyed jeans and a metallic detail handbag, arrived to production on the Joan Jett biopic Saturday in Los Angeles.

Fanning reteams with her New Moon costar Kristen Stewart, who has died her hair and committed to an edgier look to play the rocker. Both ladies recently wrapped Canadian and Italian production on the sequel to Twilight, slated for a November release.
