Although Kate had reportedly wanted to have the case sealed, there is no indication that was actually requested by her attorney Cheryl Young.

Kate requested a “no fault” divorce because, she said, the marriage was “irrevocably broken,” and had been for a period of two years. She and Jon have yet to reach a property settlement.
