Johnny Palermo, whose credits included several episodes of Everybody Hates Chris, and the Nickelodeon series Just for Kicks, was killed in the early morning hours of June 8 in North Hollywood, CA along with his girlfriend Alessandra Giangrande.  Her brother, a passenger in the vehicle, was seriously injured.

LAPD Detective Bill Bustos told RadarOnline.com exclusively that Giangrande was behind the wheel of the 2005 Toyota Scion, driving at a high rate of speed.  “She lost control of the car and collided with parking meters, trees, a building and a lamp standard.”

Neither she or Palermo were wearing seat belts, the Officer confirmed.  “Both were killed instantly.”

Palermo, 27, most recently appeared in CSI: Miami and Rules of Engagement.  He’d just wrapped a small role in Pizza with Bullets, an inde film due to be released in October.

Autopsies were performed on Palermo and Giangrande.  “The results are pending,” said Sgt. Bustos.
